Consultant Haematologist — University Hospitals of North Midlands, Stoke on Trent
Dr Chandra is a consultant haematologist based in the United Kingdom with a subspecialty interest in Haemostasis and Thrombosis and Benign (Medical) haematology — including anaemias, immune thrombocytopenia, and general haematology. He has over 25 years experience in Clinical Haematology and is the founding Director of a comprehensive Thrombosis and Anticoagulation Centre at a University Hospital in UK. He has been a Haematology Fellowship examiner for the Royal College of Pathologists for 10 years. He is a faculty member for the Blood academy course and author of 'Questions in Haemostasis and Thrombosis'
He is registered with the General Medical Council and Uttarakhand Medical Council, enabling teleconsultation across India. While his teaching focuses on benign haematology, second opinions are offered across all areas of haematology. He teaches alongside a network of UK haematology colleagues who contribute to selected cases and to HaemAcademy's study days.
